Olivia Bell

Olivia graduated as top of her college in English and as Senior Choral Scholar at Queens’ College Cambridge. She is a young artist at Bury Court Opera, where she premiered Mad King Suibhne in conjunction with ENO. She took part in workshops with the British Youth Opera last summer and has studied at Morley College Opera school. As a member of Emma Kirkby’s Dowland Works, she regularly performs with lutenists across the country. Recent opera credits include: Second Woman with Helios Collective (Dido and Aeneas); Kate (Pirates) and Pitti-Sing (The Mikado) with Opera Anywhere and Yum-Yum with the Welwyn Singers; Hermia (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Nancy (Albert Herring), Lucy (Cheryomushki) with the Cambridge University Opera Society. She also works as an editor at The Times. She is delighted to be back with the Facade Ensemble performing this exciting work.
